Psychosexual Disorders: Breaking the Silence Around Intimate Health
Dr. Manas Team14 May 2026
Sexual health is health. Yet shame keeps millions away from treatment for conditions that are medical, common and highly treatable.
Psychosexual disorders include erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, hypoactive sexual desire disorder, sexual pain disorders and sexual addiction. Most are biopsychosocial — meaning they arise from a mix of medical, psychological and relational factors — and almost all respond well to evidence-based treatment.
At Manas, our sex therapy clinic offers a confidential, judgment-free space where couples and individuals can speak freely. We combine medical evaluation, focused psychotherapy and, where indicated, pharmacological support.
What we hear most often from patients on their first visit: "I wish I had come sooner." Sexual health is not vanity — it is intimately tied to self-worth, partnership and overall mental wellbeing.
If you or your partner are struggling, reaching out is the hardest and most important step. We take it from there.
